ASICS will be providing sportswear and shoes to the eight athletes and two guide runners who have been selected for the Refugee Paralympic Team during the Paralympic Games, which is set to kick start on August 28th in Paris.
The sportswear supplied features a design of ‘Yagasuri’ that represents determination and strength. The pieces are lightweight with excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties.
The Refugee Paralympic team will be the first team to march into the opening ceremony, consisting of athletes who overcame extreme adversity to compete in the 2024 games.
