This Ramadan, Times Square Center opens its heart to the UAE community, inviting all to gather in a celebration of togetherness and reflection.
From Friday, 7th March to Sunday, 23rd March, the ‘Empathy’ campaign seeks to inspire visitors to embrace the profound power of compassion within their communities. Through immersive and interactive experiences, the event nurtures a spirit of unity, kindness and connection – values that illuminate the spirit of Ramadan and the heart of Times Square Center.
As a community-focused destination, Times Square Center is committed to bringing families and communities together through unique, educational and entertaining experiences. This year’s Ramadan celebrations provide the perfect opportunity to connect, share stories and create lasting memories while embracing the spirit of the holy month.
To echo the message of empathy, Times Square Center proudly joins hands with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). From March 1st to March 31st, daily from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, this partnership will highlight the power of unity, bringing communities together to uplift those in need. In the spirit of Ramadan, the campaign extends a compassionate hand to refugees and internally displaced families across the world, offering them vital support and a beacon of hope in difficult times.
At the heart of this initiative lies the UNHCR activation booth, a space where children can embrace kindness through meaningful activities such as colouring symbols of peace, receiving a coin bank to inspire generosity and writing heartfelt messages of solidarity to those who have been forced to leave their homes. Together, Times Square Center and UNHCR aspire to create a movement of giving, reminding us that even the smallest acts of compassion can ripple into a future filled with hope, unity and shared humanity.

Empathy Puzzle Wall
Visitors will have the chance to reflect on the question, “What does empathy mean to you?” and write their responses on puzzle pieces. As more people participate, the wall will transform into a vibrant, collaborative artwork symbolising unity, compassion and the spirit of Ramadan.

Sustainable Craft Workshop & Planting Fun
This interactive workshop invites children and parents to explore sustainability through creative activities. Participants will plant their own seedlings, learn how to care for them and take them home to nurture. Additional activities include macramé keychain making, twine coaster crafting, sunflower seed card making and coffee art creation. The workshop promotes care, responsibility and sustainable living, aligning with Ramadan’s message of thoughtful giving and nurturing.

Chess Lab Academy Partnership
In collaboration with Chess Lab Academy, Times Square Center will host a series of community chess exhibitions, mini competitions and a major tournament on March 23rd, where participants will compete for exciting prize vouchers from Times Square Center.
