#LIFELESSON – The power of people

Throughout my life and my journey, I've learned that the people we meet along the way shape our paths in profound ways. They are more than just acquaintances; they become our mentors, friends, and even family. Each encounter presents an opportunity for love, growth, learning and most times just something great. It's astonishing how a chance meeting can lead to life-changing opportunities or introduce us to a network that opens doors we never imagined. I have been so fortunate to have meant some incredible people who have molded me into becoming me. My lesson with people is to cherish every connection, for you never know how they might influence your life journey.

#LIFELESSON – Change and adaptability is a wonderful thing

Life is a constantly throwing things at you, and testing you in so many ways. Through my experiences, I've learned the importance of adaptability—the ability to navigate through change with resilience, flexibility and positivity. Whether it's adapting to a new job, a new boss, another house move, a new relationship or overcoming personal challenges, embracing change has allowed me to grow and sometimes thrive in situations. It's not about resisting the currents of life but learning to go with it, keep smiling and to find strength in our ability to adapt, evolve and learn from it all. I can truly say that I now love change.

#LIFELESSON – The strength of empathy and kindness

Over the years I have dealt with people and issues in very different ways, but one thing I have learnt is the strength there is in being kind and empathetic. My daughter has become my greatest teacher when is comes to lessons of empathy and kindness.  As I watch her live her life and her friendships with an open heart and a willingness to help others and through her simple acts of compassion and understanding, I've come to realize the transformative power of empathy and kindness in both my personal and professional settings.

In the workplace, these values have helped me foster a culture of collaboration, trust and loyalty which I believe defines success and happiness. They also guide me in trying to be a better friend, a better boss, a better mum. I just find that by embracing empathy and kindness we can strive to be more purpose driven and measure success not just by achievements but by the positive impact we have on the people we love and the world around us.
