Our New Season Beauty Wishlist

As if we ever really need an excuse, the New Year sees us looking to try some new beauty buys and overhaul our make-up bag. Here’s what we have our eyes on at Raemona.

1. Skin Story Legacy Multistick - AED 160 at TheSecretSkin.com

Cheek and lip tints remain BIG this season as we all embrace easy multi-tasking. Clean beauty retailer Secret Skin launches clean make-up and one of its first brands is local brand Skin Story. The Legacy Multistick is made for all skin types and tones and the cream-to-powder formula is infused with long-lasting rosy pigments for all-day wear. Wearable on both lips as well as cheeks for a healthy glow and a natural flushed look. Big ticks from us!

2. Byredo Mumbai Noise Eau De Parfum - AED 964 at Sephora.ae

Fragrance brand of the moment Byredo launched its latest scent Mumbai Noise at the end of last year blending warm woody scents, amber, bitter coffee and more. It’s not one everyone will like, but it’s on our dressing table and we’re enjoying it.

We’re super excited that iconic make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath has launched her cult favourite brand in the Middle East and we struggled to decide on our pick from her collection in Sephora, but we went with the palette as a girl can never have too many. The lipsticks are brilliant too.

Sunday Riley can do no wrong and we’d been waiting for “Pink Drink” to land on our shores. Here is it! This really is a power drink and pick me up for your skin to resurface, balance and firm which hydrating at the same time. It doesn’t just look pretty - it was one of our most loved Christmas gifts.

Last year we fell in love with their lip and cheek tint and it’s a staple on our desk and in our handbag. This year it’s the Under Eye Tint + Brighten that helps reduce the appearance of dark circles and illuminates eyes really well. We don’t get as much sleep as we’d like, so we really need this.

This chic looking compact bronzer comes in a number of shades and creates a natural, sun kissed glow. It lasts all day and also blurs fine lines and pores. It’s a lovely gift to you and one we keep looking at as it’s so pretty.

7. Rodial SPF 50 Drops - AED 300 at BeautySolutions-Me.com

One of our favourite skincare brands added to their “drops” line with ‘SPF 50 Drops’ which are a final step after your skincare and moisturizer to protect it from harmful UVA and UVB radiation. The lightweight SPF50 serum with blue light filter technology works to shield skin from collagen degeneration and loss of elasticity. If there is one thing you can do to protect your skin, it’s likely add this!

The packaging suckered us in, but KVD’s proven lipstick power did the rest. The new high pigment vegan buttery lipsticks come in 7 shades, in a sleek studded case. We’re enjoying “Lolita” over here.

9. La Mer Hydrating Infused Emulsion - AED 450 at Sephora.ae

La Mer’s Emulsion is feather light and goes underneath your moisturizer day and night. Packed with seaweed and soy it helps reduce fine lines and reduces any redness and irritation. It’s a classic brand we love, that never goes out of style.

10. Kora Organics Berry Bright Vitamin C Eye Cream - approx. AED 200 at Koraorganics.com

Kora and Miranda can do little wrong in our eyes – every pun intended ;) We have just ordered the eye cream and our hopes are high as we’ve never tried a bad product in the range yet. Oh and how delicious is the packaging. The refillable cream contains Kangaroo Paw Flower, Kakadu Plum, Cloudberry, Red Ginseng and Quinoa to boost skin’s radiance and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
