Let's discover a day in the life and career of Sophia:

4:15am

An early start to the day begins with meditation and breathwork, a practice I find invaluable for centering myself before the chaos of the day unfolds. These quiet moments help me focus, clear my mind, and set my intentions. I also use this time for journaling, a habit that keeps me grounded and helps me reflect on goals and gratitude.

Once I feel refreshed and mentally aligned, I get ready for the gym, making sure to grab my gym gear and anything I might need for the morning ahead. Before heading out, I stop for a black Americano—a small ritual that makes early starts just that little bit better.

5:15am

The gym is an essential part of my routine. I start with a thorough warm-up to ease into movement before getting into my main training session. The workouts vary depending on the day, but they always include a combination of strength training and functional exercises. I focus on maintaining energy and pushing limits while ensuring consistency.

Before leaving, I always finish with 30 minutes of cardio, whether it’s on the treadmill, rowing machine, or a quick HIIT session—it’s my time to mentally reset and prepare for the day ahead.

7:30am

Post-workout, I take the time to shower and get ready, making sure I feel refreshed before heading into work mode. Breakfast is a non-negotiable part of my routine—I always go for something nutritious and filling, like oats, eggs, or a smoothie. It’s my way of fueling up properly before the day truly kicks in.

Once I’ve eaten and gathered my essentials for the day, I make my way to the office, often catching up on emails or listening to an inspiring podcast en route.

9:00am

The day officially begins with a team catch-up—an important moment to align on priorities, goals, and any pressing matters that need attention. These meetings ensure everyone is on the same page, and they set the tone for how we’ll tackle the day ahead.

With a clear plan in place, I move straight into my tasks, making progress on key projects, responding to messages, and following up on ongoing work.

11:00am

Each day varies significantly, and I thrive on that variety. Some mornings are packed with client meetings in our Dubai Marina office, where we discuss strategies, upcoming projects, and industry insights. Other days involve heading out for external meetings with partners or potential collaborators.

As a BNI RAK member (Business Network International – Ras Al-Khaimah), I also make time to work remotely, especially when it gives me the chance to connect with clients based in Ras Al-Khaimah. Having this flexibility allows me to network, strengthen relationships, and expand business opportunities.

2:00pm

Lunchtime is essential, even if the schedule is hectic. I’ve learned that taking a proper break for a balanced meal keeps energy levels steady and prevents that mid-afternoon slump. I follow a meal plan with deliveries that keep things simple, healthy, and convenient.

This midday pause also gives me a chance to check in on any urgent matters, reply to key emails, and recalibrate before diving into the second half of the day.

4:00pm

Afternoons are often spent working on my podcast, SHEconomy. This can involve planning, researching, or securing new guests for upcoming episodes. Sometimes, it’s recording a new session or preparing for the Wimbledon Wealth podcast, which is set to launch in the coming weeks.

I make sure to carve out dedicated time for this work—it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about, and as the podcasts grow, I know they’ll demand even more attention.

7:00pm

Evenings are a mix of winding down and catching up on any outstanding work. Given the nature of my industry, there are often messages from clients in different time zones, and I make sure to respond to anything that needs my attention before the night ends.

Before bed, I spend quality time with family, making the most of these moments before starting the routine again tomorrow. Rest is key, and ensuring I get a good night’s sleep means I’ll be ready to take on another busy day ahead.
