The 19th edition of DIFC Art Nights held a wildly successful opening night in Gate Village, DIFC on 10 April 2025, launching four nights of art and culture under the stars in the heart of Dubai’s financial district. A record 198 local, regional and international artists converged to have over 344 artworks displayed, after rigorous selection process from an open call for artists.

The opening event saw a record turnout of art enthusiasts and culture lovers for this key event in Dubai’s art calendar. Among the displays were 112 art works by 112 female artists from 112 countries, as part of Art Connects Women, who also organised the opening evening’s panel discussions. These featured insightful conversations on financial literacy in art investment and art as a social tool for impact.

On the 11th of April the panel discussions continued, organised by Dubai Culture and Christie’s, which featured a look at the works of Piet Mondrian and building bonds between public spaces and the community. The event also features interactive art workshops aimed at children, ensuring that young people can engage with art from an early age.

Guests explored the artworks on display on the opening evening and enjoyed a unique live art and music performance by strategic partner Standard Chartered. The performance featured a saxophonist performing as an artist painted her dress in real-time, creating an elegant fusion of sound and visual expression.

Renowned international sculptor Anthony Quinn is featured at Art Nights with a kinetic golden sculpture called “Infinite Love”, alongside budding artists from The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, which reflects the young artists perspectives and aspirations on growth, creativity and the future. DIFC Art Nights provides the public with a unique mix of established and emerging artists to engage with, further cementing DIFC Art Nights as a key art and cultural platform within the emirate.

DIFC Art Nights is open to the public and free of charge to attend. All art and culture enthusiasts are highly encouraged to attend.
