We've long been a fan of the original Asia Asia in Dubai, so a new one opening in walking distance from our home on the Palm Jumeirah was very welcome. With stunning views across the iconic Dubai skyline and of The Palm, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis Palm Jumeirah, and Atlantis the Royal, from its home in the Andaz Hotel, we were excited to try this new dining experience. From cocktails at the bar, to a multi-course dinner or a brunch, Asia Asia Palm Jumeirah offers it all.

In our true form, we headed down with the girls for a fun night of dinner and drinks. Our first impressions are how huge it is. Spread over 10,000 Sq ft, there is a lot of space and defined areas. The decor is vibrant and colourful, with plenty of fuschia and gold. There is also cooking stations and an open kitchen. What's for sure is that it's an experience, not a restaurant.

We chose to order lots of sharing plates so we could try a good selection. The Crispy Sweet Potato was so good we've all spoken about it since. The sushi was fresh and divine, the duck dreamy and the veggie and vegan options all hit the spot too so we didn't miss out.

A great night out, we're planning on heading back with our husband soon for a date night. We feel we'll be here quite a bit. I mean, we can walk - so we'd be rude not to, right?
