// Time blocking
Separate your to do list into time blocks. For example: 30 minute tasks, one-hour tasks and three-hour tasks etc. I usually start the day by clearing off two 30 minute tasks so I’ve made progress in the first hour of my day. This also helps get out of procrastination mode and into a flow.
// Give yourself an incentive
If you’ve got three tasks you keep avoiding, spread them across the week and add a reward system in for when you’ve got it done. For example, submit all your accounting documents and then have a 15 minute break in the sun with a coffee.
// Prioritise what moves the needle
Business owners need to prioritise work that moves the needle in their business every day - the thing that brings in clients or gets deals done that no one else but you can do. Then delegate everything you can outsource at a lower cost to give you more time to work on needle movers.
