It seems like the podcast trend is still growing in popularity with so many new shows launching recently.
As a podcast addict, I say the more the merrier. Here are five of my favourite easy listens:
1. Ladies who Launch
Watching women thrive in the business world is a topic very close to our hearts so we were delighted to hear that Rochelle Humes was going to be hosting an all-new podcast called Ladies Who Launch. Serving up the aspirational journeys of women who have made their mark and pursued their dreams, the first two guests were business powerhouses Jo Malone, and Emma Grede. Rochelle describes the pod as ‘your girls’ group chat for business and beyond’ and we are so here for it.
2. Rise with Roxie
She’s a darling of the self-development world and her book, Manifest, has sold over one million copies. But in 2025 Roxie Nafousi is also going to be making waves in the podcast world. With Jay Shetty as her first guest, we’ve got high hopes for this weekly pod. On her Instagram page, Roxie told her audience to expect ‘conversations with experts and personalities who can share insights, tools and inspiration to help you Rise Up, Rise Above & Rise Again’. Yes girl, this is the energy we need this year!
3. Stompcast with Dr Alex George
We’ve loved Dr Alex since his Love Island days and watching him become a best-selling author and a mental health campaigner has been a joy. The Stompcast is a lovely listen where Alex takes guests on a walk in a location of their choice to discuss life and mental health. Dr Alex believes ‘Our mind and body can be transformed through the simple act of walking’ and we couldn’t agree more. Tuning into this pod has been a great companion for our own daily walks.
4. Begin Again
Davina McCall launched this podcast at the end of last year, in amongst her own health battle. Determined to empower people to embrace midlife as their most transformative era yet, the show has already racked up some great guests including Paloma Faith, Marisa Peer and Johann Hari. It’s not only reassuring to know life doesn’t ‘end’ in our 40s and 50s, but also to hear that people can come back from challenges such as addictions, relationship breakdowns and grief to live fulfilling lives well into ‘old’ age.
5. Great Company
He’s come a long way from his early days in Made in Chelsea and his first foray into podcasting with ‘Private Parts’. Jamie Laing is now a Radio 1 DJ and a former star of Strictly Come Dancing, and the host of a new podcast in which he has interviewed the likes of Tim Spector, LL Cool J and Tiktoker Alix Earle. Tune in for some honest conversations, a very likeable host and an excellent format. Tip - Make sure you listen to the end for the quickfire questions including what scares you most about yourself and when was the last time you cried. This makes for some of the most entertaining content!
You can tune into all of these podcasts on Apple and Spotify.
