Your Covid Isolation Update

With the news this week of masks no longer being mandatory, another new change is the isolation period for Covid Positive Cases. The new isolation period will be 5 days, this has reduced from 10 days. There are also some updates with the Al Hosn app whereby the green pass will remain valid for 30 days if you are fully vaccinated, which has gone up from 14 days. If you are not fully vaccinated, your green pass will remain active for seven days after a negative PCR. Currently in Abu Dhabi a green pass is still mandatory for access to hotels, attractions and malls across Abu Dhabi.

Please note that masks are still mandatory in mosques, medical facilities, public transportation, food service providers, injured and suspected cases. While the wearing of masks is optional everywhere else, it would be worth noting that some please will still wish to wear them until they are ready to do so no longer.
